PHP Version

Different hosts and servers use different PHP versions. Code written for PHP 8.2 may not work with PHP 7.4. This check helps prevent deployment errors and plan a migration.

The tool checks compatibility with PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. For each version, it shows whether a construct is supported, was introduced in that version, or is deprecated.

The tool provides recommendations: replace an outdated function, use alternative syntax, or add a version check. For complex cases, see the official PHP migration documentation.

You can paste any PHP code, including code from packages. Note that large amounts of code may take longer to process. To check Composer dependencies, use composer show and the package documentation.

Deprecated means a feature still works but will be removed in a future version. Replace it with a current alternative before upgrading to a new PHP version to avoid fatal errors.
